Giuseppe’s Restaurant
Giuseppe’s Restaurant - a place that is increasingly gaining popularity to Tacloban’s both local tourists and foreign visitors. The place is a bit classy by the city’s standard with panoramic windows which serve as walls, giving the pedestrians a glimpse of the resto’s interior. Currently, the restaurant’s lower level could accommodate 70 persons while the upper level could be an ideal venue for small parties of 20-50 people, chamber, concerts, product launch and other events where intimacy commands.
Way back in October 1992, the restaurant was opened by business visionary Joseph Bonavitacola and his wife blue-blooded Taclobanon socialite Cathy Añover . So Giuseppe’s Restaurant is actually a husband-wife tandem of Italian-American food experts that is more than the owners’ passion for cooking and eating with family and friends. They opened the place with only just 6 tables thinking that they would just operate for a year since Joseph had a restaurant in Guardia Dei Lombardi, province of Avellino called Cantinella in Italy.
Unsure of how the market would fare to a timid city like Tacloban, they took on the challenge and later realized that it could indeed survive.
Now, Giuseppe’s Restaurant possesses a great Italian ambience one would surely experience satisfying your stomach with their lip smacking delicacies like Ravioli alla Panna and Chicken-breast Pizza. Here’s more, the resto is a cozy place where there is no dress code, so come as you are!
